Whats new in V5.5.1.0?

NetRescue strives to give you the most stable and feature rich software
that we can. To that end, we are pleased to be able to upgrade our
servers, and your client software with the additional features and minor
bug fixes as listed below.


This is a recommended upgrade for all users. To upgrade your software,
simply visit our downloads page, download the version of software that
matches your operating system, and then run it when the download
completes. The Online Backup Manager (OBM) on your computer will
be upgraded, and all files and settings will be retained.



New improvements and added features are:


Show total number of files and uncompressed file size for each backup set

File search and filter function

Continuous data protection - start backup whenever a file is being modified

Add options for user to choose to backup using 256-bit Encryption

In the restore window, it should give a label to the other radio button (not the original location but the one which allows to choose restoring to another location)

Re-design of AhsayOBM / AhsayACB GUI

Add the functionality of "Backup and Sleep (Hibernate)" and "Backup and standby"

Bug fix - Ensure that the "UnsupportedLookAndFeelException" will not display when running "RunBackupSet.sh" with a backup set that could not be found on server

Ability to initiate backup from OBS

Allow backup schedule to run every X minutes

Change "Show jobs after…." to "Show job as of …."

Enhance user experiences by streamlining the installation process with easier installation instructions
