NetRescue strives to give you the most stable and feature rich software
that we can. To that end, we are pleased to be able to upgrade our
servers, and your client software with the additional features and minor
bug fixes as listed below.


This is a recommended upgrade for all users. To upgrade your software,
simply visit our downloads page, download the version of software that
matches your operating system, and then run it when the download
completes. The Online Backup Manager (OBM) on your computer will
be upgraded, and all files and settings will be retained.

Bug fix - OBM can register an AD user account with empty password (ref: QQQ-667951,CEB-369726)

Enhancement - Automatically detect the maximum available memory for OBS use in startup.sh (NIX only)

Enhancement - Added new java extra options to startup.sh and startup.bat for better performance

Bug fix - HA setup - Duplicate LAST_UPLOAD_SIZE entries in Profile.xml for all users (ref: DDD-218224)

Bug fix - Change email content-language from "utf8" to "utf-8"

Bug fix - Cannot restore files with Danish characters (æøå) with OBM user interface (ref: EWZ-219418)

Bug fix - Problem due to index migration in v5.5.3.x series is fixed

Bug fix - Daily retention policy job failed for backup set with advanced retention policy setting (ref: ZLG-715511)

Bug fix - Incorrectly deletes checksum files and delta files after running Rebuild User Storage

Enhancement - The CRC checking interval for each backup file is lengthened to between 180 and 244 days

Enhancement - Add a double quote to the registry of OBM (ref: YCP-460476)

Bug fix - OBM on windows removes all data when a volume shadow error occurs. (ref: ZAH-995756, MMM-530360, ANH-559783, EVW-977367, BUX-536014,SEZ-325343)

Bug fix - Mac Schedule backup does not work on 64 bit MAC OS (ref: TTT-771515)

Enhancement - To support OBM in Mac OSX 10.6 (ref: DBA-227276)

Bug fix - If OBM can recover from network retry error, backup job in backup report won't be classified as failed

Bug fix - OBS web restore changes the last modified & create date for the file to current system date (ref: CLN-476236)

Enhancement - Allow to restore the data directly from RPS with version 5.5.3.x or above (ref: SQZ-690282,RTN-882834)

Enhancement - Smooth the sensitivity of function button on OBM (ref: CCC-181090,CCE-320804)
