Value Added Services

These are the NetRescue extras that add to your chosen plan on an ?as needed? basis to enrich the NetRescue experiance.

Initial Backup (seed loading) - Your first backup will include all of your files you wish to backup. Because of this, your first backup maybe very large indeed. To help lower the cost of sending such a large backup over the internet, the OBM software includes a feature that allows you to store your first backup on your own hard drive. NetRescue will send you a USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive which you can copy your first backup onto and then send back to us. We will then load your first backup onto our server, and you will be set to go. Your next and subsequent backups will only include additions and modifications to the files that are already protected by NetRescue. The fee on this service covers all costs include signature courier to and from you and use of the USB Hard Drive.

Rescue DVDs - After you have been using NetRescue for awhile, you may find that the amount of data you have stored has grown to a large amount. In a disaster situation, such as a hard drive crash, theft or fire, you will need to restore all of this data. To save you downloading your entire backup set, you can order a set of Rescue DVD?s. We will send you your entire backup on DVDs which you can use to restore your computer with. This could save you a lot of internet bandwidth and possibly time, depending on the size of your backup. You may even wish to get a set made every 6 months, or anually for archival purposes.

Site Visit - setup or fault - The NetRescue software, OBM has been designed to be easily installed and maintained by those with a little computer experiance. If an individual is unsure, or has a problem, NetRescue offers free email support. Between email, yourself and maybe your local PC contractors, we should be able to get any problems sorted. For completness though, we have included in this list a Site Visit for setups and faults.
